After-School Program/Club

Scholar CC motivates students to pursue an education beyond high school. We do this by providing in-person and virtual complimentary college and career services including:

• Group mentoring 
• Scholarship assistance 
• Standardized testing and college admission fee waivers
• FAFSA assistance 
• SAT Tutoring 
• Soft Skills training
• Workshops on Financial Literacy, College Housing, DACA, College Admissions and more
• Mock Interviews

In addition, we bring outside professionals and motivational speakers to share inspiring stories and to provide important community resources to our students. 

Virtual Sessions

Our online sessions are an extension of our After School Club. Virtual sessions allow us to reach students across the district! Students can log-in to attend bi-weekly SAT tutoring and College and Career Workshops. Virtual mentees also have the opportunity to be matched with a mentor. 

Group Mentoring

The program is also designed to give students the opportunity to be mentored by passionate mentors (college and career readiness coaches) who share similar academic and career interests. Students also receive one-on-one and group support from Scholar CC program staff, contract teachers, and community services.
