Lynne Wideline Gassant MS ’15, Mrs. Palm Beach County 2017, competed for the title of Mrs. Florida United States in April. Currently working as a talent acquisition recruiter, Gassant runs the nonprofit Scholar Career Coaching, which mentors students in after-school programs and has awarded 10 scholarships.

La Quesha Swain graduated this spring from Atlantic Community High School. Bound for Spelman College in Atlanta, Swain takes the top scholarship of $750 awarded by Scholar Career Coaching. She plans to major in psychology and economics.

After-school mentoring program fills a niche

Scholar Career Coaching is filling a niche at Atlantic Community High School. The new mentoring program provides one-on-one and small group guidance. It’s a need that founder Lynne Gassant knows all too well.

Where are they now?

Lynne Gassant is a 2010 graduate of Palm Beach State College and 2012 graduate of Florida Atlantic University, both in Boca Raton, Florida.

It is a perfect fit for our student needs, as it will provide invaluable support in making our student’s dreams come true. Our current students have seen the success of their predecessors and are so excited to begin working with ScholarCC mentors.

Boca Raton, FL Dec 6, 2014 – Earlier in the week a fund raising event was held for Scholar Career Coaching at the Blue Martini in Boca Raton.  Several members of the board were in attendance.  Guests paid a $10 donation for a ticket to the event.
